Content Notes: Warning for death, just in case anyone is creeped out by skulls, it's a skull. Original is just a red pilot pen and then I cleaned up the contrast a little digitally.

I'm claiming this as both prompt #45 (negative space) and #45 (scribble art) because I found the two went really well together.

Content Notes: blink warning: For real warning about that blinking gif behind the cut. I love it, but it's also an eye sore. I used the photo references from the Love Life Drawing's "Fresh Eyes" course (days one and two). Supplies: initial sketch with a colored mechanical pencil, colored in with cheap markers, and then digitally edited with free software (FireAlpaca for the editing and clean-up, lunapic.com for the fun filters that I used on the backgrounds, ezgif.com for the the blinking animation).

I'm doubling up and using the prompts for figure drawing practice whenever possible. Here are a few of my "negative space" attempts.

Content Notes: These are all the cats I've lived with in my life - some for too short a time, some for many years. All except Daisy just with me in memory now. Daisy's shown in the same style as she's my neighbour's, not mine, and only visits when she chooses. The most I ever had at once was four, when some neighbours abandoned their three cats who all promptly moved in with me.
