Challenge 45: Negative Space

Fill in the Negative Space around an item.

"Negative Space" is the area surrounding the subject matter. Draw the shape around the item, and leave the subject itself blank. This exercise shifts your focus from the details within the subject matter, to observing its overall shape.

Oh yay, I am looking forward to working with this concept again! I think the last time I used it was… in 2020 for a Michael Burnham portrait.

I think this is a challenge that we can do again sometime in the future. So far we've never repeated a challenge, but what about bringing back the ones that produced lots of entries in the past? I know they are openindefinitely but making them official again could remind people….

That's a good idea, since there are definitely older challenges I'd like to take another shot at. :)
