[personal profile] goss is putting together the Drawtober prompts list with input from all of you who've commented with prompt ideas, so there'll be another post soon with our Drawtober list.

Meanwhile, I'm planning a pure Botober challenge and have combined and culled down the AI prompt lists to cover the 31 days. These AI-generated Botober prompts are pretty wacky and I think it'll be a fun challenge figuring out how to interpret them!

[personal profile] goss suggested I post my version of the Botober list here, so it's as below. Feel free to have fun drawing or painting any of these prompts in October if they take your fancy. I alphabetised the list to randomize it and to mix up the different AI prompt categories. Just tag any fills for these Botober prompts with the same Challenge #40 Drawtober tag, as it's all part of our October challenge.

I've added this same Botober list as text below, under the cut.

Tagging

Hi everyone - just a brief resource and discussion post about tagging our posts. As you know we recently introduced artist tags, and we have challenge and fandom tags as well. I wanted to explain how I go about adding tags, as it's not quite so easy in Dreamwidth to do that - but that may just be me doing it wrong, so comments are welcome!

I haven't been able to find an interface/device that will show me all the available tags for the [community profile] drawesome comm at the time that I'm writing a new post - say, when I'm posting an artwork. Mobile interfaces are no good for that (IOS or Android pads etc), but even a normal PC interface doesn't let me access a drop-down list of tags so as to select the ones I want. If I can remember them perfectly and I write them in just right (and the tags are already in the system) then they will show up, but I usually can't manage that.

So what I do is finish and post the post, then I hit "edit tags" for the new post and hey presto - a drop-down list appears. I then select multiple tags, as appropriate, by holding down "control" on my HP laptop while I add them. [personal profile] goss and I can add new tags to the comm just by typing these in, and we will see your posts pretty soon and will add any tags if needed - for a new fandom or a new artist. After that, those tags will be in there for everyone to use.

So that's how I do it and it's pretty quick and easy. Let me know if you've found any other or a better way to do tagging!

Hey everyone! You may have noticed that we've introduced artist's tags so you can tag your art posts from now on  ([personal profile] goss has tagged all the posts so far.) If you're posting art for the first time don't worry, as either [personal profile] goss or I will add a tag for your name as soon as we see the post and you'll be able to use that tag for any later posts.

Comments can't be tagged of course, so if your art or drawble is in a comment we'll tag the round-up post at the end of the main challenge period with the names of all artists who contributed works - whether via a post or a comment. I've gone back and tagged those round-up posts as well.

Hopefully these tags will eventually make it easier to search through the comm for a challenge type, a fandom, or a specific artist and their works.
