I'm not a finicky person wrt pairings. Ha ha it's a great sport to watch live - I only go once a year to our Elite League playoffs but I used to go every week when I lived in Durham (and when Durham had a team). I don't have much of a clue about the NHL other than the names of the teams and a few players I've now heard of thanks to FF by Downjune, Brutti_na_boni and a couple of others.

One way is to use the thumbnail code they provide but make the 'thumbnail' normal pic-sized.
Here's a screenshot of how to alter the size. Click on the little arrow beside the far right (width) number. Then after you click to set the width you want, copy and paste. The screenshot below was done like this using 600 as the width. For my image of "Getting to know you" fandoms etc., I used 480 as the width.

My art time is almost all taken up with a big tarot deck project right now, so I may be mostly lurking since it sounds like this comm is going to be focused on fan art? But I am very much looking forward to seeing what fannish things people make! :)

My favoritest fandom thing is Bucky Barnes (with or without Steve), and current shows I am watching include The Librarians, Doctor Who, and Orphan Black. I also just finished reading the last book in the Fitz and the Fool trilogy by Robin Hobb, and I may be tempted to do some watercolor art of those two after I finish my current WIP.

Haha, that's a fun and complicated question. :)

I usually describe my project as a Tarot deck because it's a useful point of reference, but the library of cards in it is not the same as a standard deck (though there are a couple overlaps with the Rider-Waite Tarot). A friend and I developed it as part of a tabletop RPG game, and I have been slooooowly illustrating it. If you're having problems getting your image to post in full size, you can go to the View Your Images page, and then copy all the code written out in the "Image Embed" field.

Or you can copy just the image URL between the single quotation marks, and manually add it into the [img src=""] code that you type out yourself.

The V-shaped symbol on the left is from Voltron: Legendary Defender, the house symbol is from Homestuck, the Pokéball from Pokémon, the feather is from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, the bear with the crosshairs on it is from Dangan Ronpa (he's one of the main constant antagonists of the games!), and the symbols next to the Pokéball are from Free!, the symbols on the jackets of the opposing swim teams of the series. (I figured that one would be a little tough, but those were the simplest things I could think of to represent it, ahah.)

She wanted to draw/doodle something for 40 days instead of 100. But I like "normal drawings" more than just doodling, so I'm going to try and draw full drawings every day (though on some days it will be simpler drawings :P).
We only just started. So far I've made a simple drawing of Togepi and Pikachu coloured with markers, and a drawing of a bird with watercolours. I think I need to improve on the realism and backgrounds, so that's what I'm going to try and draw more of this month!

I've got a temporary issue with uploading new sketches so... answering some questions with words alone and some with old sketches I happen to have.

Right now, I'm... super into micro-fandoms, like... (sadly I don't have ANY sketches of the characters from current hyperfixation 'St. Elsewhere', but I'm heavily obsessed with the movie 'Transylvania 6-5000' at the moment, and then also just... anything else Jeff Goldblum has ever done.

Empanadas. Homemade, by my aunt who is from Chile. One time when my uncle and aunt visited my other-aunts-and-mom here, she took over the whole kitchen for a whole day, she filled every surface with empanadas and they were the best I'd ever eaten. I dream about those empanadas.

The great thing about empanadas is that there's such a huge variety. Like, the first kind I ever came across was ground beef with raisins? But the ones my aunt made were chicken and cheese, with a slice of hard boiled egg in the middle of each, plus a vegetarian option for my sister... so like, if you run across one that sounds un-palatable, someone somewhere uses something you'll probably like, I've now seen them with just about everything...

OMG, I had to let you know that, thanks to your prompting, when I went to Toronto over the Christmas holidays, I tried empanadas (for the very first time) from two different places and they were WONDERFUL! :D :D :D

BTW, the kind I had was chicken with a boiled egg (and olive).

Hi there - you use that little icon above the posting field with a bumped line on top. Hover your mouse and it should say. But honestly easier to switch to html and insert < cut > at start of the cut/readmore and < /cut > at the end of that section or pic. :)
Ha - it won't show the code of course, so delete the spaces inside the angle brackets.

Thank you for the advice!! I think there must be something wrong with my account because I have html settings on but for some reason I still can't put things behind a cut. I can bold and italicise ~~and even strike~~ but not cut?

Weird! - cut and /cut is definitely the right html code, though. No luck using the rich text side and that "cut" icon, I guess? You just select the part to be cut and click it. Oh - and if you then post it, the options list to check the post won't show the cut - it'll show the whole post. You have to look at the community as a whole to see the cut working.

I don't seem to be able to use the rich text editor when commenting. After having a look around I've found that's normal, though! So instead I'll just post the images as much smaller files, haha.

No, duh - sorry, I forgot that this into post is structured so you reply as a comment.
That's why you can't use a cut - there are no cuts in DW comments. I clearly need more coffee!
Yes, using thumbnails is the only way I'm afraid. If your pics are loaded into DW's own storage it will give you the code for the thumbnail and link to full pic. Or just hand-code it if they're elsewhere.
