Content Notes: A DCU/MCU crossover. Decided to give Baby Groot a friend. ^__^ I used my left hand to draw with pencil and paint with watercolour. I have never tried to use a paintbrush with my non-dominant hand, so I'm really happy with the way it came out. It did take me twice as long (if not more!) than it usually would though, plus my wrist kept cramping from the unaccustomed movement. Also, my name is signed backwards, because for some reason it's easier for my left hand to write stuff mirror-imaged. :b

I hope it's okay to post a second drawing for the challenge? I have another drawing for the challenge too, is it okay for me to post that one too? It's just that I really enjoy this and challenging myself! :-)

I wanted to say a huge thank you for this amazing challenge because it gave me an opportunity to go back to the traditional drawing and I realised that I miss it very much so I will try to mix both traditional and digital drawing from now on.

I'm debating whether or not I should also color in the face, but I kind of liked it this way. I have... legible control with my non-dominant hand, if I take my time, but I did find sometimes I relied on using my shoulder over my fingers (like you're technically supposed to do, haha, but I don't do it when I draw with my dominant hand) because the fine motor control is more difficult (hence, squiggly lines). It was nice to give my right hand a break, though, it's been kind of hurting lately.

Content Notes: Possum, also known as the best cat in the world - I figured he'd forgive me if it turned out wonky. Pencil drawing (scanned & the contrast slightly upped as it was a crappy scan). He's not actually legless, he just has his paws tucked under him. :)
Well, that was interesting. The right side was incredibly hard to do - worse than doing left sides with my dominant right hand. I constantly had to beat down the urge to swap the pencil to my right hand, as well. The likeness (see icon) is a bit wonky but his fluffiness came through.
