drawesomeContinuing our series of Creature Design challenges based on specific themes. Here's the second challenge, an aerial theme, for Flying Creatures.
Draw an alien or fantasy creature inspired by aerial lifeforms - wings of all sorts, but also anything else you can think up that flies or floats - like air sacs, thistledown fluff, steampunk propellors, etc. Thanks tosyntheid for suggesting the idea for these creature design challenges.
You can create a new, original creature, or draw one based on source material, such as movies, books, etc. Please feel free to use the comment section of this post for discussion of the prompt (i.e. ideas, suggestions, questions, etc).
A round-up post for submissions to this challenge will be done onSunday 4th August, 2019. Deadline extended to 31st August!
