Three drawings for the challenge; two real sea creatures and a mermaid. This turned out to be a great excuse to play around with the black drawing pad I bought a while ahgo.








And a bonus Time Lord, because I was watching Doctor Who and one of the episodes had such beautiful lighting that I had to pause for a moment to draw this.

Wow, I love the translucency you achieved, especially with making the octopus's suckers a paler shade then the body. Great drawings all of them and the Doctor is instantly recognisable!

Thank you! I was surprised how well this technique worked for drawing delicate, translucent sea creatures (and delicate, sensitive Time Lords :D).
