This week's challenge was suggested by syntheid in the Prompts post.

Challenge #20 - Time Travel

Draw a favourite character as if they existed in a different time period.

They can be placed either far back into the past or way forward into the future, but the character should be living in that time period. eg. a historical AU or modern day/futuristic AU. You can use the comment section of this post for discussion of the prompt (ie. ideas, suggestions, questions, etc.).

A round-up post for submissions to this challenge will be done on Saturday 15th September, 2018.

Just throwing out some ideas. I'm thinking of Superhero fandoms like DC and Marvel, where characters from present day are now in:
- The Wild West, or maybe Steampunk
- The 60s or 70s (the fashion possibilities omg. *g*)
- A Post-apocalyptic world
- Pre-historic times
- Egyptian/Greek/Roman eras
- A Star Trek type future, with all the cool tech
- A cheesy Jetsons-style future with space suits and flying cars
- The Roaring 20s (flappers, jazz, murder mysteries)
- World War I
- Pride and Prejudice era (1800s)

Oh what a cool prompt! I'm thinking of future robot AUs, Jane Austen AUs, Victorian detective style AUs... so many cool possibilities.

Mmmh characters... it would be most fun with current day characters probably.

Oh yeah, or even Period shows like the one I'm watching right now, Peaky Blinders which is set in the 1920s, but would be cool to design the characters as modern day punk rock anarchists/gang members.
