A somewhat redacted compilation of my 2018 goals drawn with a black posca on a random sheet of paper during a 10 min downtime at work... I'll try to do somethinga bit more elaborate next time . ^^ :)

Date: 2018-01-28 07:16 pm (UTC)My partner did most of the cooking last year and I decided to be more proactive. :D
And the "getting a new cat" is almost a go! Next week hopefully! :)

Date: 2018-01-28 09:29 pm (UTC)I do live in a flat and at first I shared your reservations... but our first cat two years ago was a rescue, and living with us was much better for her that wherever she would have ended. And actually with proper care an adult cat can do very well in a flat! Our next kitty will be a rescue as well and I don't think she ever lived anywhere with a garden, so she won't miss it!

Date: 2018-01-31 06:50 am (UTC)Good on you for choosing rescue cats! If we ever got one that’s what we would do as well. The problem for us is that I am often away the whole day until the evening and my bf is usually only here on the weekends. I’m not comfortable leaving a kitty all alone for so long :-( But your are right, cats used to flats can probably have a good time there too.
