Today's the last day of August, and we'd love to have you check in and chat with us. How have things been with you this past month?

Did you sign up for or take part in any fandom activities in August, or have you been working on any personal art projects? Are you currently trying to meet a deadline? Feel free to share upcoming art challenges that have got you excited, any frustrations you've been experiencing, possible goals for the next month, and so on.

ANNOUNCEMENT: ART CHALLENGE EXTENSION

It's been another pretty busy month for many of us, so we're extending our current drawing challenge - Stained Glass - for another two weeks.

The new round-up post for submissions to this challenge will be on Sunday 15th September, 2024.

Other than the stained glass challenge, I've been busy with a number of projects, none posted/revealed yet. Did an artwork for the WIP Reversebang, and complementary art for two WIPBigBang fics. Plus I'm writing a medium-long story for the SGA anniversary, and editing a longish SGA podfic. That is, I was until my laptop battery swelled up dangerously. I'm waiting on a new one, hopefully this coming week. The laptop should be ok but it won't work without the battery. I can do most of my projects on iPad, but not the podfic. So, a busy month, and mildly frustrating. Very thankful that a mobile computer technician caught the expanded battery, as those can explode.

Oh wow, thank god that was caught in time! Exploded batteries are not pretty. Looking forward to seeing your pieces once they are revealed!
