Challenge 67: Stained Glass

Create a drawing inspired by stained glass art.

Create a drawing or painting in the style of stained glass, or that prominently features stained glass, for example as a background behind the character(s).

Some stylistic features of stained glass include an outer border and prominent lines framing the main features of the work, and dividing up the background into coloured "panes".

Oooh I had been waiting for thisnone ever since mific siggeste dit! I have an old Merlin art that I have always wanted to do in colour….

While going over some of my older fanart for the 10 Year Redraw, I came across quite a few pieces that I'd sketched with pencil, but never got around to filling in the colour. Hmm...perhaps I too could try completing one of those in the stained glass style.

That‘s definitely what I‘m planning. My original already has a stained glass background design and I want to transfer it onto watercolour paper to colour… As old as it is it could even double for both challenges.

I swear I'm going to post something for this! Just ... not today. (This summer has been crazy and my art has just been shoved aside for more urgent things, but I swear I will find balance again eventually.)
