Tomorrow's the last day of January, and we'd love to have you check in and chat with us. How have things been with you this past month?

Feel free to share upcoming art challenges that have got you excited, any frustrations you've been experiencing, possible goals for the next month, and so on.

I've really enjoyed this month's Automatic Drawings! It's been fascinating seeing what kind of visuals emerge subconsciously, both for myself and for others. :D

It was refreshing going into this challenge without any expectations, and just drawing for the love of it, not really focusing on creating an end result.

I've also been working on a series of drawings for More Joy Day this month, puzzle-pieces that are meant to interlock to form a composite. Hoping to complete the remaining requests over the next two weekends. ^__^

Upcoming fanart challenge:
I signed up for the Word of Honor Reverse Big Bang - artwork is due in 2 weeks! Thanks to mekare for the company in this challenge. ^__^

The Automatic drawing challenge has been a lot of fun, and the puzzle pieces are so clever, they way they make up a whole image yet answer different prompts!

Hi ma belles!

I wrote a handful of ficlets for Chocolate Box and a story for Purim Gifts (now I just need to decide about the graphics portion) and continue to work on the Giant AU story I've been writitng for 3 months now, ahaha.

I'm working on a Valentine's exchange piece (Voltron) that is due soonish. I can probably finish it up this week if I sit down and apply myself.

I managed a New Year pic on 1st January, Fireworks then the last 3 of my greater arcana Stargate Tarot cards and a summary page, and have been enjoying the Automatic Drawing challenge. The rest of my time's been caught up on a podfic restoration project for the Audiofic Archive, with squidgiepdx.

I squeaked into the automatic drawing challenge at the last minute.

I'm currently working on a gift from someone's wish list for the Snowflake Challenge. I've made the Valentine's Day cards for my children, so I'm ahead of the game there.

My goal for next month is to finish the gift, but mainly to make more time for practice. I've been really bad about that the last few months.

It feels like it is 2019 again! I am head over heels for a new fandom and its pretty (and complex) characters and have been producing art for them like crazy. I also signed up for a Reverse Big Bang for it (and persuaded goss as well). It‘s been a blast!

I also also posted my art review for 2021.

It seems having a new obsession is giving me a lot of energy. XD

ETA: I also still have a second automatic drawing piece that I haven‘t posted yet. Need to find that again...
