Summary: Two versions of a drawing I did where I tried to capture Neal and Elizabeth's likenesses in my style.



So, another attempt to draw Neal Caffrey, with Elizabeth Burke joining him. I tried to think a lot about the construction of their likenesses.



I added one of my usual backgrounds, then remembered...



Minoan Fresco backgrounds tend to be more like this.

This is so charming! I'm not sure I'd recognise them but it's an age since I watched White Collar anyway. Love the patterns and the second background is definitely a nice Minoan reference.

I think their likenesses are good. Handsome people are actually harder to manage likenesses for as their features are usually symmetrical with few features that stand out and can be emphasised. I like both backgrounds, and the second one does look more like a fresco. Love all the details in their clothes and hair!
