Content Notes: I was searching for bathing suit pics for references for this challenge and saw a pic of someone in a bikini resting on the edge of a sheet of ice and wearing a toque. Thus we have this whale mermaid. I had way too much fun making the cracks in the ice berg and had to stop myself. Kept the palette limited to get it desaturated. Watercolors (everything except the toque is ultramarine, burnt sienna, and phthalo blue), Bleedproof White, Pentalic Aquajournal.

A gorgeous mermaid in a gorgeous landscape. I love the sheen on her hair and the contrast between her warm bare skin and her toque. BWee. :)
