This is so clever as well as lovely - how long did it take you?

Way too long! You're supposed to slice up your original pic to reassemble it (twice), and I thought I'd be clever and do that bit in Photoshop, which turned out to be harder to do and took longer. I think the way to go is to be brave and chop up the physical pic, then do a final simpler digital clean up at the end to hide the joins, where necessary.
