Gijinka: drawings of people 'dressed up as'/personifying non-human, often inanimate and/or intangible items.

A tricky concept to get your head around! Do you think it could be done in a non-anime style? As many of us don't do anime/manga type work. All the examples will be in that style, though, I guess.

I think this could work like a sort of human-hybrid challenge, where you basically anthropomorphize something inanimate or intangible.

I'm thinking along the lines of how people often cosplay concepts. eg. Doctor Who's TARDIS: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10086199/tardis-cosplay

So you wouldn't be limited to the anime-style for portraying the human figure. The challenge would be more in incorporating elements of your chosen concept into your design of the figure. The drawing style itself could range from very realistic to more cartoony - it would be totally up to the artist.
