I was drawing her to look as rocking as I possibly could and her dress just grew fringe!

I have worked in radio all my life, and this is UTTERLY DELIGHTFUL! I never thought about how the microphones and amplifiers were turning sound into electromagnetic radiation (light), and the receivers turned it back again! ("Invisible airways crackle with life - bright antennae bristle with the energy!" Rush, Spirit of the Radio)
