Inktober Week 1 (And two recent drawings I wish I could pretend were Inktober)

Getting something postable every day is not happening this year because I keep wanting to do drawings that are more complicated than ... anything I've done before.



What I have so far is here:

Potions and bottles:



My first time using technical pens! I thought I would love them. They are not easy to control.

Just before Inktober I'd done this:



I made this for blending practice and used my more usual inking pen (Sakura Pigma PN).

Mushrooms:



I plan to add shading to this later.

Writing:



Doctor Strange and Clea, his 616 comics canon wife. She's a white haired demon sorcerer who wears purple.

I love this idea, but I might redraw it. The sketch was on landscape orientated paper and that lead to a better composition. Also, yeah, a few anatomy and inking mistakes I'd like to correct. Also, when I fixed some stuff on Stephen's torso I deleted his other hand. Still, for me this is a very solid piece.
