Challenge #19: Days 1 - 10 (Complete)

Content Notes: 10 days of artworks created for drawesome's Challenge #19: 10 Minutes for 10 Days. These were all drawn in my daily planner using pencil, pen, markers and coloured pencils.

The majority of them took way more than 10 minutes, some up to even 2 hours. For this challenge, I focused on practicing different drawing styles, and trying to develop a consistent routine to draw something around the same time at the end of each day, so didn't give myself a time limit.

The challenge definitely got the creative juices flowing, without the stress of having to produce perfectly planned out artworks whenever I sat down to draw. :)

They certainly brightened up my daily planner. And now that vacation's over, and today is the first day back out to work (*cries*), my planner goes back to being about boring stuff. :b

Btw, should I do an overview post that you can link to in the round-up, too?

Yeah, I think an overview post would be good, since it's a good way to see your progress over the 10 days. But since all your works are split between two posts, I could easily link to those in the Round-Up. So either way is fine, it's up to you. :)

As you can see, I did a round-up. and added photos of the sketchbook sheet. Might give an idea of the scale of the drawings which I always find interesting.

I love the idea of doing the doodles in a diary - that's a great way of making sure it's one a day. Clint's back is awesome! And I really like the crack. I bet the glass globe took more than 10 mins... *grin*

Yes, it definitely helped keep me on track. Also, the small size of each section was a good way for me to keep it simple and more likely to complete.

At first I thought - Oh, here's an easy one I can finish before midnight, just draw a circle and fill it in, how long could that take? HA. One hour goes by FAST OMG. :b
