Content Notes: Created for drawesome's Challenge #16: Age Diversity. I chose McGonagall because I love Maggie Smith's expressive face and her character is all kinds of awesome in the HP movies. This one's a pencil sketch on watercolour paper, with a sepia tint added digitally. I'm hoping to overlay the sketch with ink or paint at some point. :)

I like how you carried the surprise and dismay through all of her body language.

Thank you! I was really captivated by the original movie still that I used as a reference, especially because of her body language, so it's great to know that the emotion comes through in the sketch. :)
