Signal Boost: Art Claims for WIP Big Bang until 24th June

I happened to accidentally see the wipbigbang art claims post today and there is a huge number of stories that haven't been claimed yet. Claiming a story automatically doubles as a sign-up for the Wip Big Bang.

Final Drafts/Art Due- August 7th
Posting Starts- August 8th
Posting Ends- October 31st (the last two weeks are reserved for emergency posting)

I‘m writing regular challenge posts, I could, with the mods permission, write those check ins here in the comm.

That would be awesome. The deadline is *just* far enough away that it's so easy to think I have plenty of time, but I haven't even begun to brainstorm *what* to draw. (The snippets make clear which characters I should focus on, but what style, what medium, just faces or a pose? Waffling over these details is going to eat up half my drawing time.)

Okay, I‘ve talked to the mods and we agreed that I‘ll host the check-in posts in my journal, visible only to the four of us that are participating in the bigbang. That way we can talk about specifics without giving anything away in public. I think you‘d need to subscribe to me, so I can add you to the circle of people who can comment and see the post. I‘ll test it tonight.

accomplished so far:
- contacted author
- immediately panicked that I have now scared off author with an overenthusiastic fandom-pounce
- found an appropriate font for the story title
- no actual drawing at all
