Summary: Hemi, Jim, Wiremu and the dogs take a breather after bringing a mob down from the tops.
Notes: Created for the current Drawesome challenge to draw and paint fantasy characters who are Black, indigenous, or people of colour. Watercolours and gouache, finished digitally. This is an older work from many years ago that I've adapted and partially repainted for this challenge, hence being able to finish it in a day.

Oh, I love this! Especially the centaur lighting a cigarette :) Their different personalities come through so clearly in their body language. And then all those doggos - I might have made a silly squeeing noise at the bottom right one with the floofy ears perked up :D

Delighted you like the pic! Mustering dogs are great - these ones are a mix of huntaways which have deep barks, and eye dogs which are the ones that herd the sheep like in dog trials on TV.

Well, they're already centaurs so they're already not living in real life. :D (But they look like they COULD, which is yet another thing I love here! ♡)

I especially love the details in the hills in the background in this one, and the fact that those three characters are so different in their personalities. All I know of them is this image, and I can already imagine what they'd be like.
