Content Notes: This is my first time taking part in Inktober. All artworks created this week were done with a ballpoint pen. I added a subtle colour tint in Photoshop for the last two, and really liked the effect. :)

Content Notes: I'm trying a variety of inking methods, so far I'm uncomfortable with all of them! Just when I think something works, I try it on a different subject and botch it. Never mind, I will persevere!

Content Notes: This is my first time taking part as well. Somehow I started with gold ink and couldn't switch to black up to now *g*. Previously I had only used it for Elvish writing or decorative stuff. I am slowly learning the possibilities and limits of working with it. I had planned to post every two to three days and so far it worked, despite my main focus being on my Big Bang pieces (one still left).

inktober: week 1

Rating: G? PG for... humanoid tree in tree-underwear and slightly creepy things? I don't know how ratings work.

Content Notes: Weird eyes, a vaguely creepy thing with teeth, bits of skeletons, mostly humanoid things, and one butterfly. I also don't know how content notes work. I'm still having trouble controlling the medium outside the ballpoint pen which is similar enough to pencils that I can get the expected lines out of it. I've tried several different brush pens and also india ink with a brush for ink washes, and the color is mostly because I'm sketching with colerase, which doesn't disappear under monochrome ink as much as it did under watercolor.
