Admin Post: Drawing Challenge #42 - Draw Your Hand

Our previous art prompt was more imaginative and abstract. For this month's art challenge, we will be focusing on practicing our observation skills:

Challenge 42 - Hand

Draw your hand.

Observe your non-dominant hand, and draw it using your dominant one. You can try drawing your hand flat open or posed at various angles.

Hands can be some of the most challenging subject matter to draw. As such, you'll find a wide variety of methods being used by artists, including freehand drawing, the use of guidelines, breaking down parts of the hand into blocks and shapes, etc.

Here's a sample of YouTube videos demonstrating different techniques used for drawing hands:
