Drawtober (Botober) Days 7-12

The next six of my Botober pics - they're digital drawings printed then shaded or coloured with inks, then scanned and finished digitally.

Very creepy! I like the Bunnicula grave rabbits and the cockroach in particular.

The headless animals one is extra creepy! These make such a great set, I could see them in a surreal and lightly macabre calendar.
What paper do you print on? It seems to take you ink washes very well.

Thanks! I do them on a small A5 pad from Art Spectrum, called Draw & Wash Pad. It's smooth for drawing and OK for light washes, but the surface degrades fast with anything more. Handy for smaller pics though, and only 210 gsm so my printer can handle it.

Nice! I haven't tried my printer on anything thinker than normal weight printer paper, but I keep thinking I might try some watercolour paper and see what happens.

It's a fairly common Canon printer/scanner, but the good thing is that the ink's waterproof once dry. Handy.
