Tomorrow's the last day of January, and we'd love to have you check in and chat with us. How have things been with you this past month?

Did you sign up for or take part in any fandom activities in January, or have you been working on any personal art projects? Are you currently trying to meet a deadline? Feel free to share upcoming challenges that have got you excited, any frustrations you've been experiencing, possible goals for the next month, and so on.

Also, we have a new drawing challenge for the month of February, which will be posted tomorrow. :)

The next one on the list is a coffee nook/lounge area that I'd planned to finish in Inktober. It's still in the early composition phase:



I've got a few other things in progress, including a Phasmophobia art that is way beyond my skill level.

Love the details like the Chinese(?) writing on the tea boxes and that kimono looks lovely.

Thanks! The writing is Japanese. The character is biracial, lives in America and tends to lean towards Japanese furnishings in his personal space.

Thanks for the details! I couldn‘t think of the right term (kanji) but I remembered that Japanese writing also uses signs of Chinese origin.
