I will not be doing the prompts, but I have my own list of techniques/subjects I want to try this month.

I failed my savings throw against Painter 2020 (now available for Mac/Win on Humblebundle for <£25) and started playing with it, going through a brush packs every day.



This was my first item of October 1st and I'm really happy: I found a brush I wanted experiment with, found a reference photo, and sketched this without agonising over it (I only redid a single stroke). That's much more confident than I was a year ago, so I feel I've really come on a lot.

Can't wait to see what everybody else is doing.
