That's a trick I learned on YouTube. *g* Instead of colouring with the black pencil on paper, I lifted off the watercolour from the tip of the black pencil with a wet brush, and then applied the brush to paper to fill in the dark areas. The colour on the lead tip gets *really* intense once it mixes with a little water.
