I was reading up on mermaids when this came to mind. Next time we have a Choose a Past Challenge Challenge I'll try to dress somneone in cloth patterned with this simplified mermaid design.

Nice motif! This would also work great for the Pattern challenge we did a little while back. You could have fun experimenting with the colour variation or playing with the positive/negative space. :)

As soon as I doodled this I thought of the Patterns Challenge which I did not make anything for. So one day I'll dress someone in mermaids. :)
