inktober Days 1-8, and a question

Over at my journal:

Days 1-4 and Days 5-8

Also, a question.

I came up with an idea for a prompt that would involve a recursive image. I use my computer to create recursive images, and IIRC computer composition is against the rules of Inktober, isn't it? Or is that just computer correction? Do you think I should draw the recursive image, or leave the idea for a time that is not Inktober and draw the other idea I had?

Thanks for advising me. :)

I agree with the above poster, in that I think Inktober was meant to be hand-drawn art at the very least, whether you use a paintbrush, ink pen or a digital pen.

You are certainly free to create the computer composition of recursive images, but I think it should be done independently, rather than under the category of "Inktober" art. :)

Also, please note that our drawing community itself ([community profile] drawesome) is for posting drawn art only, both traditional and digital.

No problem. :) And yes, this type of art would be acceptable at the comm.

Also, if you're ever unsure about what might or might not be acceptable to the comm, it would be a good idea to include a work-in-progress pic with your art post, showing the original drawn version of it, before parts if it were digitally altered/ repeated.
