Today's the last day of May, and we'd love to have you check in and chat with us. How have things been with you this past month?

Did you sign up for or take part in any fandom activities in May, or have you been working on any personal art projects? Are you currently trying to meet a deadline? Feel free to share upcoming art challenges that have got you excited, any frustrations you've been experiencing, possible goals for the next month, and so on.

I mostly worked on personal projects. Didn't really do many fandom things or signed up for fandom related things.

I’m gearing up to try making an illustrated fanfic book. I bound a fanfic into a physical book form and now I’m learning how to make a cover, then I’ll basically go doodle in the margins. Seems like a fun idea for the summer.

I am so sad I couldn’t participate in merman but I managed to injure myself in a way which precluded drawing. Maybe I’ll recover soon enough to make Pride Month Mermaids

I did some pics for Mermay & Marine, and organised my merpeople art into a series just stick a mer in it :) Also made some podfics. Nice to stay in and potter with autumn coming on here.

I‘ve been working on a project for the year-long DMBJ calendar (I‘m making three calendar pages) which I can‘t post yet. The first page is about 70% done (all background coloured in) and I hope to finish soon.
