Content Notes: So I asked rdm  what mermaid I should draw today and he asked for a traditional style mermaid but with sharp, pointy teeth. Hope she fits the bill, if not, he can argue with her.

 

The ink is what you get if you are once again lazy and put the Pick Me Up Diamine into a disused and unclean Pelikan Garnet.

 

I don't know whether the contamination is preventing the sheen that's supposed to be happening, or whether it's just that the light here isn't good.

 

One of the early mermaid pictures that stuck with me was something like this captioned "Mermaid combing her hair to lure sailors" but whether it turned out like that half remembered picture I saw as a child we'll have to see when I dig it out.  Anyway, drawn without references so we'll see later.
