Content Notes: Created for Drawesome Challenge #54: Draw What You Love. I love the beach! I could spend hours looking out at the magnificence and beauty of the ocean. ♥ This was a quick watercolour, done around mid-morning, when I was at the beach the previous weekend.

I used a dollar-store watercolour set and paint brushes, so the quality and control isn't the best, but I'm glad I had them with me. :)

Thanks! Because of the low quality of paint, I knew it probably would have ended up getting all muddy if I tried to layer it with too many details, so I decided to capture just a few of the things that stood out to me. I'm glad it works. ^__^ (And apologies for the delayed response)

This is beautiful! The colors are spot-on (I didn't even notice in the preview that there is a painting and a real landscape behind it, I thought all of it was just the art), I love how the composition is inspired by the view but not its actual copy, and the way you photographed it is lovely too! ♡

Especially delighted to know that the colours "matched up" the real view, since the watercolour set had a very limited colour palette and I had to end up mixing a lot and hoping for the best.
