I drew her, and I knew she needed someone to talk to, and then I knew exactly who I like talking to who could give her someone to talk to! It was such an awesome experience!

I think a lot about the storytelling in an image, and though I hate shell bras I wanted her to get dressed, in a way.

I am delighted that people like my little mermaid and her dress sense. To go a bit deeper for a moment, I really wanted to draw a cute Black mermaid, because 'cute' and 'Black' are often said to be antonyms, at least in the US. I am so glad I could trust her to the splendid people of Drawesome :)
