So I made the coloured background for In Space a reality last night. It went quicker than expected! I also made some WIP shots which I put in the post in my journal.

I'd like to thank everyone participating in this community for all the encouragement and inspiration. You guys have really been jumpstarting my creativity in a big way - via your own art and/or comments!

The thumbnail pic looks so real! You definitely got the look of the galaxy down. It's only when you zoom in on the larger version that the blending and paper texture etc. become apparent. Very cool.
