i miss old-school deviantArt and virtual pet sites! all that time i spent surfing the web for art and adventuring on neopets was some of the most fun i ever had growing up.

hi! i hope it's okay to post in this thread since it hasn't been updated in a while, but i didn't see anywhere else and i'd like to get a feel for this community. i'm brand new to dreamwidth and i want to meet some fellow artists. i'm not able to doodle an intro right now but i draw a lot of video game fanart! hopefully i can share some art and see what everyone else has to share.

Feel free to look around. The artworks posted here are entries for our own community challenges. There are no deadlines for these, so you can go back and create artworks based any of the previous challenges if you feel inspired.

We also have a monthly Check-In post at the end of each month, where members of the community can share other artworks that they've been working on, such as personal projects and fandom challenges.

If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them for you. :)

The weird purple bag that my mattress came in -- I had some back problems recently (spending too much time hunched over the laptop during COVID lockdown), and the futon mattress that we were sleeping on was making it worse. Thankfully I was able to acquire a new mattress!

Hi! I'm finding the doodle prompt a bit intimidating, so thanks for adding the talk about option. This last year I've starting drawing again. I've been picking up new skills from video tutorials as I see a need to improve something, and it's been a really fun process. I'm currently a Guardian (cdrama) fan, and I'm trying to be more active online.
